Our Participation in the Arab Book Fair

Rouh Association participated in the Arab Book Fair in Istanbul in collaboration with Akadem Istanbul Academy, where it had the opportunity to introduce visitors to the association and its charitable objectives. During this event, the association showcased its activities in supporting orphans and allocated a dedicated space to assist small business owners by selling their products at a special booth.

Throughout the nine days of the exhibition, the Rouh team was consistently present, engaging with visitors to explain the association’s mission and goals. They provided detailed information on how to sponsor orphans and the various projects implemented by the organization. Additionally, the team worked on building new relationships with visitors and potential sponsors, contributing to the association’s efforts to increase the number of sponsored orphans and ensure the sustainability of sponsorships in the long term.

Sales and Contributions
-The total sales generated by small business owners during the exhibition amounted to 194,421 Turkish Lira.
-30% of these sales (58,326 Turkish Lira) were allocated to the orphan sponsorship program, directly increasing support for orphans.
-Furthermore, direct donations were collected from attendees after they were introduced to Rouh Association and its initiatives, totaling 6,674 Turkish Lira.
-As a result, the total amount of donations collected from Rouh’s participation in the book fair reached 65,000 Turkish Lira.

Outcomes and Achievements
Beyond the financial contributions collected, raising awareness about Rouh Association and its humanitarian mission among exhibition attendees is an achievement in itself. The direct engagement with visitors provided a unique opportunity to introduce them to our efforts in orphan sponsorship and to establish new connections that will support the association’s future goals.
